Overview

1TouchMobile is situated in the southern tip of the Indian Peninsula, sandwiched between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats mountain range. Our goal is to develop software that can provide a rich user experience. Special importance is given for the user interface design of our software. Our applications have a unique look and feel and are designed from the ground-up to aid in ease of use. Affordability is another key factor that we take into account. With 1TouchMobile, there is no need to buy a software more than once. We provide updates to all our software free of cost. Moreover updates are applicable to all prior versions of a software.

Our Approach to User Interface Design

We believe that the most commonly used features in any mobile software should be practically easy for the user to access, as easy as ONE TOUCH of the Screen or Keyboard. The non-numeric keys (UP, DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT, ENTER) are used wherever there is room for them to be used. This eliminates the need to go through a Menu or even a fancy button to perform certain operations.  For example, to edit a contact, all you need to do is press the LEFT SOFT key. There is no need to view the summary and then click on a Menu item called 'Edit'.  For deleting a contact, the Back key (Smartphones) or the Backspace key (Pocket PCs) can be used. While creating (or editing) a contact, there is no need to type in a Company Name for every new contact. Simply select it from a dropdown list. Incase you want to enter in a new name, you can still do it. A multiple selection list is available wherever you need to select multiple contacts - AND with a T9 search!

There is no fancy interface like photos or sliding screens for searching contacts. Instead if you want to search for 'Mike', you just press the keys corresponding to 'm','i','k' & 'e'. If you prefer to search by Firstname, you can sort the contacts by Firstname prior to the search. You can do the same for a Lastname search. We specialize in developing .NET applications as well as utility software for the Google Android and Microsoft Windows Mobile platforms. The latest Windows Mobile Phones have .Net Compact Framework 2.0 (NET CF 2.0) or above embedded in the built-in memory of the Phone (ROM) and hence are capable of running all our applications. NET CF is a key part of realizing Microsoft's goal to provide customers with great experiences—any time, any place, and on any device.
