Deleting Contacts

Besides deleting a selected contact, there are options to selectively delete contacts chosen using the Smart Selection List. Another interesting feature is deleting an entire group of contacts or all the contacts in the phone. If you select the By Group (or Company) option, a Group Name needs to be provided under Full Name.

The selection list is a Smart List, meaning you can search a contact the same way you do in the Main Display screen, i.e. press the numbers keys only once for each character in the name. The search term is displayed as the title text and gets updated when the keys are pressed.

For example, for locating the name 'Shane', you would press the keys 7,4,2,6 & 3 only once. Selecting a contact or pressing the UP or DOWN arrow keys will reset the search. One can also select and unselect all contacts at once using the 'Select All' and 'Unselect All' menu options.

Tips on using non-numeric keys

  BACK key -> Delete the selected contact
  BACKSPACE key (QWERTY keyboard) -> Delete the selected contact
