Contact Search

Searching is implemented in a similar manner to that in the built-in contacts application. In addition, OTC has the smart search feature throughout the application wherever contacts are selected (Sending SMS, Deleting contacts, adding contacts to a group etc).

The TITLE text shows the matching text as you press the keys while searching for a contact. For example, if you wish to search for 'Adam' you would press the keys 2,3,2 and 6 in that order. The title text would display the first four characters of the first matching contact for the key combination of 2,3,2 and 6.

Note that the smart search feature is applicable only to phones that have the numeric keypad. If you have a QWERTY keyboard, then the search is a regular search.
